La obra consiste en un registro fotográfico de intervenciones realizadas en la vía pública; dichas intervenciones han consistido, primero, en ubicar lugares peatonales, veredas y callejones donde la negligencia municipal se evidencia a manera de huecos, para luego aprovecharlos, llenándolos con tierra de sembrado, y utilizarlos para plantar huertos de diferentes especies comestibles (romero, tomillo, ají, culantro, lima-mandarina, menta, hierba luisa).

La pieza plantea la necesidad del empoderamiento de la ciudadanía y la toma de acción por sus propias manos frente a la indolencia de las autoridades. La aquiescencia y la apatía son cómplices del mal rumbo y el fracaso de nuestros espacios en común. El huerto también pretende reflexionar sobre el problema de las áreas verdes de la ciudad, cuya reducida cantidad es realmente bochornosa.

Los huertos sugieren una posibilidad de dinámica e interacción entre quienes los cuiden y mantengan; una organización comunitaria que funcione paralela e independientemente a las autoridades de turno; la convivencia como una solución.​

The indolence gardens, 2014

The work consists of a photographic record of interventions carried out on public areas; These interventions have consisted in locating pedestrian places, sidewalks and alleys where municipal negligence is evidenced as holes which are used, filled with sown soil, and used to plant orchards of different edible species (rosemary, thyme, chilli, coriander, lime-tangerine, mint, lemon grass).

The piece raises the need for the empowerment of the citizenry and the taking of action by their own hands in front of the indolence of the authorities. Acquiescence and apathy are accomplices to the bad course and the failure of our common spaces. The orchard also aims to reflect on the problem of green areas of the city, whose small amount is really shameful.

Orchards suggest a possibility of dynamics and interaction between those who care for them and maintain them; a community organization that operates in parallel and independently to the authorities on duty; coexistence as a solution.
